This fan film of Star Wars will have a lot of resemblance to real-world situations. Especially when our, the creator’s, own country is currently in a civil war struggling for democracy. The main themes of Star Wars have always been about the righteous fighting for hope of a better tomorrow.
Why We make it?
Our Approach and philosphy
However, our approach to Star Wars will be less straightforward, and we will explore the perspectives, philosophy and reasons of both the light and the dark side users equally. We have a lot of creative freedom in making fan film instead of official ones. We like the take that Japanese animators had on Star Wars in Visions. How they added so much content, layers and coolness in such short episodes were inspiring. Our story will be longer than stories from Visions, and we will dig deeper into power struggles, political complications and personal conflicts of each character to portray the in-universe situation and its real-world counterparts better.

New Vision
The universe of Star Wars is a vast one. But in the past few Star Wars media that came out, we saw deserts. So we will try to base this on different environments. One of the environments we will be presenting will be lustrous green jungles resembling those of Southeast Asia. We tried to make this a new and refreshing experience for the Audience, so we researched and implemented some SouthEast Asian cultures while keeping the “Star Wars” vibe.

Our goal is to share our ideas and visions with everyone. On the other hand, supporting this project also means helping the war refugees in Myanmar. We set our goal of $3000 minimum to make this project happen. Still, more support would be appreciated as most of them will go to artists and war refugees in Myanmar who are currently suffering from the military coup and civil war.
